JHS launches Cougars Take Charge

The Jefferson High School Leadership Class is dedicated to modeling and instilling JHS's Core Values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and kindness at Jefferson High School. The class created the Cougars Take Charge initiative to bring awareness to the entire student body about reporting concerning behaviors, being a positive role model, and standing up to peers at the appropriate times.  These students believe if all our students demonstrate these core values, JHS will be the greatest high school in the country!

The JHS Leadership Class presented to each of the classes on Feb. 2 about this initiative and encouraged everyone to sign the Cougars Take Charge pledge banner and make a promise to hold others accountable. The class is also distributing Cougars Take Charge bracelets during Cougar Hour. If you have any questions on how you can help be a part of the Cougars Take Charge movement, please see a JHS Leadership student or Ms. Pearrell.
