Welcome! My name is Senior Master Sergeant Jason Morris and I teach first year Cadets (commonly known as the 100’s). If you need to contact me during school hours, my planning period is 5th period. Whenever possible, please contact me using LiveGrades or the email address listed above. I check Livegrades daily and generally respond within 24 hours.

This is my fourth year teaching Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) at Jefferson High School. I'm originally from Penns Grove, NJ and enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduating High School in 1988.

I completed 26 years in the United States Air Force and served in a multitude of different jobs and locations. I began my career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician on KC-10A Extender refueling aircraft. I also performed special duty tours in Air Force Recruiting Service as a recruiter in Vineland, NJ with follow-on duties in Marketing and Operations with the 314th Recruiting Squadron. My final assignment was at Pope Air Force Base (Army Airfield), North Carolina—Home of the 82d Airborne Division. I worked as a C-130 Hercules E/H Section Chief, Expeditor, Unit Deployment Manager, Production Superintendent and finished my career as a Maintenance Superintendent with the 2d Airlift Squadron and 440th Maintenance Group.

The Air Force also afforded me valuable opportunities to further my education and training. I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in History through Campbell University and two Associate of Science Degrees through the Community College of the Air Force. During my time in the Air Force I had the privilege to see many parts of the continental United States, Asia, Europe, deployed to Bagram Airbase Afghanistan, Ali Al Salem Airbase Kuwait, Al Dhafra Airbase United Arab Emirates and Al Udeid Airbase Qatar in support of Operations JUST CAUSE, DESERT STORM, IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM.

Our motto in AFJROTC is "Scholarship, Leadership and Citizenship". As a Cadet, the experience you gain will provide a solid foundation of leadership, teambuilding and life skills necessary to prepare you after High School.
